Name: Gary
First Appearance: Dealers #1
Description: Gary is the main character of Dealers. After settling down with his wife in a Chicago suburb, Gary had some free time. After hanging out with his friend, Wayne, he decided to get back into comics, toys and other geek stuff. Gary has always been a huge Star Wars fan and the movies meant a lot to him growing up. They represented a happier time and the good times he spent with his father. Gary tries to balance his new hobby with his relationship, but things sometimes get a little tense. This story follows Gary’s descent into the toy collecting hobby.
Name: Wayne
First Appearance: Dealers #1
Description: Wayne is Gary’s best friend. Over the years, they’ve enjoyed things like the Star Wars movies, Conan, comic books and now toys. Wayne go into the toy hobby first and brought Gary back into the collectible world when he brought Gary back to Jimmies Comics. Wayne keeps secrets from his wife Wanda, like the dirt bike he bought and hid from her. Still, they have a pretty stable relationship. Wayne has to be careful about his money because Wanda is always on top of him not too spend too much on his hobby.
Name: Tamara
First Appearance: Dealers #5
Description: Tamara is Gary’s wife. She’s never really understood Gary’s obsession with Star Wars and action figures, but she was glad when Gary got himself a hobby at first. Tamara has a plan for her life and for Gary, but whether or not the toys will fit into it remains to be seen. She tries to be a loving wife, but at times it’s almost as if she’s overcompensating for something.
