At Super Frat, it’s Rewritten Headlines: Jackson Jury to Alien Lights.
Name: Dylan
First Appearance: digital hobo #1
Description: Dylan is loosely based on the freelance writing adventurers of Tony DiGerolamo. After Dylan’s girlfriend loses her job unexpectedly, Dylan is forced to pick up the slack doing more freelance writing and any job he can find off the Internet. Always trying to make a buck, Dylan finds jobs from places like Craigslist and what puts the “odd” in “odd job”. He does not suffer fools well and has a short fuse with stupid people. He loves his girlfriend, Wren, but hopes everyday that she will find gainful employment and rescue him from underemployment Hell.
Name: Wren
First Appearance: digital hobo #1
Description: Wren is Dylan’s supportive girlfriend. Prior to the start of the comic, Wren was the bread winner, but now she’s stuck at home emailing resumes and doing laundry. Bored out of her mind, Wren spends most of her day reading magazines and trying to ride out the terrible economic downturn. She is a bit impulsive, but hasn’t yet tried one of the odd jobs. Secretly, she’s glad that she doesn’t have to put up with all the craziness that Dylan sometimes deals with.
