Keep the Factory Running!

Thursday on the Network: Compromise

Hey Factory Fans!

Well, I finally finished the Archive!  Hooray!  There is, of course, still some tweaking to be done, but for the most part it’s finally finished!  Hopefully, this manually built archive will be less confusing than the automatic one that WordPress builds.  If you have any questions or see any mistakes, please email me.  It’s still an ongoing process.

And speaking of changes, I had to get rid of my PO Box at South Jersey Rebellion Productions, so don’t send anything to that anymore.  Long story short, the post office wanted to fine me for being late on my rent so forget that.

Friday afternoon, I’ll be stopping by the BeTerrific.com booth at the New York Comic Con.  I won’t have a table or anything, but if you catch me on the floor, I’m happy to sign comics.  Speaking of which, my latest issue is Bart Simpson #98 and a story called Skateboard Renegade.  Got the cover and everything.

At Super Frat, it’s a new strip called Leave Us Alone, Sarah.

There’s a new Validation today as well.

And the Quote of the Day is from Robert Louis Stevenson:

“Compromise is the best and cheapest lawyer.“

Wednesday on the Network: Friend Zone

Hey Factory Fans!

The Friend Zone can appear anywhere, but a lot of us refuse to believe we’re in it.  The key to get out of it is not to make a big deal that you’re in it.  The wheel turns and things change.

At Super Frat, it’s Twitter in Focus with China, Ill creator, Brad Neely.

Check out our mention at Down the Tubes about Intergalactic Medical Doctor.

And the Quote of the Day is from Anon:

“Being in the friend zone is just like being front row at an awesome concert….except you’re deaf.”

Tuesday on the Network: Brand New Comic!

Hey Factory Fans!

Welcome to the premiere of Intergalactic Medical Doctor!  It’s great to have Dave Windett back at the site, doing what he does best.  Also, writing with Christian on a new project is always fun.  And hey, have you seen our work in Comic Book Mafia?  You should if you haven’t.

And have you click on our sponsors recently?  You’d be really helping us out if you did!  Geek4Geek and MyDigitalComics.com!

Also, it’s a new installment of Super Frat.

And the Quote of the Day is from Steve Jobs:

“Creativity is just connecting things. When you ask creative people how they did something, they feel a little guilty because they didn’t really do it, they just saw something. It seemed obvious to them after a while. That’s because they were able to connect experiences they’ve had and synthesize new things.”

Character Profile: Trusto-71

trusto

Name: Trusto-71

First Appearance:  Intergalactic Medical Doctor #1

Description:  The Trusto model is a robotic assistant for people in the medical profession and related fields.  An experimental empathy chip was originally implanted to give the robot mild mental flaws or quirks, but is more commonly known around the space ways as the “Neuroses Chip”.  This allows the robot to experience worry and uncertainty, except when performing certain vital tasks for its user.  Trusto-71, in particular, is famous for his neurotic behavior on the various spaceships he’s been assigned.  He is currently assigned to Dr. Owen Carlisle, a doctor known for his unorthodox procedures.  Carlisle’s behavior seems to be testing the limits of this unit’s ability to process these neuroses.  Trusto-71 has been seeing a hologram therapist regularly.

Monday on the Network: Terrible Future

Oct05

Hey Factory Fans!

My friends say I am all doom and gloom, but I like to think of it like this:  Plan for the worst and hope for the best.  I mean, how else am I going to justify the huge underground bunker I built in my back yard?

At Super Frat, I take a look at Bearded Comics in the Webcomic Review.

Validation is new.

And the Quote of the Day is from Marcus Aurelius:

“Never let the future disturb you. You will meet it, if you have to, with the same weapons of reason which today arm you against the present.“
