Don’t forget to click on our sponsors, Factory Fans.  This month it’s Randomcomics.net, MyDigitalComics.com and Game Play Wear.

At Super Frat, it’s a new strip called Snooper-in-Chief.

And the Quote of the Day is from Denny O’Neil via CBR:

“The time I’ve been working [in comics] is almost 50 years, and the changes have been enormous. I’m tempted to say that nothing has changed as much as comic books, until I remember home computers and space shuttles and the wristwatch I’m wearing. When I was a kid, it would have taken a warehouse full of vacuum tubes to achieve the same thing. It’s become a very different medium. When I started, part of the attraction for me was it was not a respectable business.“

At Super Frat, it’s Ten Things I Learned From Family Guy.

And the Quote of the Day is from David Mack via Henry Jenkins:

“As a distribution system, comics are unlike radio or TV where you have a license and regulations and people overseeing you or film distribution where there is a certain amount of money and system involved before you can do anything. One person in their basement can have an idea and immediately make a complete story and reach a pretty fair amount of people through comics – whether the kind you print off and staple together at Kinko’s or the kind you make and distribute through the web. Comics are one of the last pirate media.”

Harold George has your Sunday, The Funnicks.

At Super Frat, it’s Your Fratoscope for June 9, 2013.

And the Quote of the Day is from John Severin via The Comics Journal:

“…all artists are influenced by everybody that comes along. If a guy has anything that you think is good and you can add to your work, you do it.”

Am I actually still doing this?  Yeah, at Super Frat, it’s another Tony’s Media Podcast.

And the Quote of the Day is from Gerry Conway via the WTV Zone:

“It’s very hard for me to write anything on spec. By spec I mean on speculation that someone is going to buy it or to write it just because I want to write it. And that’s unfortunate. I think I had more desire to do that when I was younger. You spend 30, 40 years writing for a living and you just end up not being able to juice it up unless you have an assignment and know where it’s going.”
