“[Horror fiction] shows us that the control we believe we have is purely illusory, and that every moment we teeter on chaos and oblivion.”

Hey Factory Fans!

Don’t forget to take a click on our sponsors at the end of the month!  RandomComics.net, MyDigitalComics.com, Game Play Wear and School of Comics!  Remember, helping them, helps us bring you new webcomics every day!

Christian and Kelci have a new strip at Validation.

At Super Frat, the bros talk Saints Row IV in Australian for Drunk.

And the Quote of the Day is from Simon Bisley via Comic Art & Graffix Gallery:

“I think even now I’m not too interested in the story because I find it boring just drawing people standing around and doing what they’re doing to tell the story. I’ve always got to think about each page and some great pose I’m going to do. I’ve got away with it thus far. “

At Super Frat, it’s Fratty or Not Fratty with Pledgemaster Dick.

And the Quote of the Day is from Kurt Vonnegut, Jr.:

“Here is a lesson in creative writing. First rule: Do not use semicolons. They are transvestite hermaphrodites representing absolutely nothing. All they do is show you’ve been to college.”

It’s Sunday and time for your weekly, The Funnicks!

At Super Frat, it’s Your Fratoscope for July 28, 2013.

And the Quote of the Day is from James D. Hundall via AlphaFlight.net:

“Sci-fi is critical to superhero fiction because you need some kind of excuse for how people got superpowers and science fiction provides the most suitable means. When you delve into magic it becomes a fantasy story. The better your science sounds, the more realistic the premise of the superhero is. But of course, you need believable characterization to pull it off and stories that make sense. All of those things, together are needed to make a superhero work. Though for years bad science has been used to justify a character’s powers and writers got away with it because most people don’t have a good education in science, alas.”
