Hey Factory Fans!

I like cars and The Cars and songs about cars.  And yet, I have an unreasonable fear of being hit by a car.  Even when I’m in a house.  (Houses do get hit by cars.)  I would never live at the bottom of a hill or on a curve near a highway.  No way.  I had a friend who did. This guy had a heart attack at the wheel, smashed right through his living room.  It can happen.

When you are arguing politics on the Internet, as I often do because I must be some kind of sadist, you run into a lot of deflection.  People just trot out their emotion or something completely off topic in order to avoid actually talking about what you were actually talking about.  It shows you have a short attention span, which the Internet famously crushes to nothing.
