Keep the Factory Running!

Monday on the Network: End of Summer

Hey Factory Fans!

Well, the A/C is off, the leaves are starting to turn and a whole bunch of crappy shows are about to start up on Network TV.  That can only mean fall is fast approaching.  Soon we’ll all be in long pants and jackets complaining about people and their damned Pumpkin spiced lattes.  And I, for one, welcome our new Pumpkin Spiced overlords…

Today at Super Frat, I sorta complain about Game of Thrones.

Monday means Validation!

And the Quote of the Day is from Albert Camus:

“Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower.”

Sunday on the Network: The GoT Finale

Aug27

Hey Factory Fans!

You watching Game of Thrones?  I still am.  Genius show.  Although what started out as mind-blowing, genius and awesome is now merely awesome.  Christian and I talk about this show quite a bit.  From a writers’ perspective, it really lost something coming off the books.  That isn’t to say the show’s writers aren’t very talented, they are.  I mean, I’ve been on both sides of the equation, book, TV, movie.  The former requires detail and layer and the latter is more about pragmatic issues and money.  I just wish someone had held the line a little better.  Some of the johnny-come-lately fans drove the show to a very PC state.  I mean, just watching that first three seasons, you were like, “Holy shit!  How are they doing this?!  They’ll never show this on regular TV!”  This season, while exciting, could easily go on network TV for the most part.  Much like the Sopranos, success ruined it a bit.  (Although couldn’t even watch the last season of that.)  Still, should be a fun episode tonight.  Or at the very least, Christian and I will have lots to complain about.

Today at Super Frat, don’t miss Your Fratoscope, which today got a like on Twitter from comedian Judy Gold.  Thanks Judy!

And the Quote of the Day is from Ray Bradbury:

“My stories run up and bite me on the leg – I respond by writing down everything that goes on during the bite. When I finish, the idea lets go and runs off.”

Saturday on The Network: Double Post

Aug27

Hey Factory Fans!

Please take note of the double post today.  I reposted it as the post on the Patreon.  BTW, the end of the month is coming, perfect time to sign up and throw us a buck.  Keep the webcomic dream alive, baby!

At Super Frat, it’s Ten Things You Shouldn’t Do in a Hurricane.

And the Quote of the Day is from Niccolo Machiavelli:

“It is double pleasure to deceive the deceiver.”

Friday on the Network: My Back Up Plan

Aug25
by Tony DiGerolamo on August 25, 2017 at 7:35 pm

Hey Factory Fans!

Today’s strip is exactly what I intended to do if I ever got into an accident with my car delivering pizza.

At Super Frat, it’s Rewritten Headlines.

And the Quote of the Day is from Thomas A. Edison:

“Being busy does not always mean real work. The object of all work is production or accomplishment and to either of these ends there must be forethought, system, planning, intelligence, and honest purpose, as well as perspiration. Seeming to do is not doing.”

Thursday on the Network: MST 3000

Hey Factory Fans!

MST 3000 is back on Netflix and every geek actor available has made an appearance in it.  It’s like the Nerdist dream team over there.  Not bad though.  Check it out.

The Jersey Shore Comic Book Show in Rahway on September 9th has been canceled, by the way.  Just FYI.  The next show is in Toms River in November.

Check out Harold George’s blog.

Thursday means Validation!

At Super Frat, it’s a new strip!

And the Quote of the Day is from Benjamin Franklin:

“Most people return small favors, acknowledge medium ones and repay greater ones – with ingratitude.”
