Hey Factory Fans!

You watching Game of Thrones?  I still am.  Genius show.  Although what started out as mind-blowing, genius and awesome is now merely awesome.  Christian and I talk about this show quite a bit.  From a writers’ perspective, it really lost something coming off the books.  That isn’t to say the show’s writers aren’t very talented, they are.  I mean, I’ve been on both sides of the equation, book, TV, movie.  The former requires detail and layer and the latter is more about pragmatic issues and money.  I just wish someone had held the line a little better.  Some of the johnny-come-lately fans drove the show to a very PC state.  I mean, just watching that first three seasons, you were like, “Holy shit!  How are they doing this?!  They’ll never show this on regular TV!”  This season, while exciting, could easily go on network TV for the most part.  Much like the Sopranos, success ruined it a bit.  (Although couldn’t even watch the last season of that.)  Still, should be a fun episode tonight.  Or at the very least, Christian and I will have lots to complain about.

Today at Super Frat, don’t miss Your Fratoscope, which today got a like on Twitter from comedian Judy Gold.  Thanks Judy!

And the Quote of the Day is from Ray Bradbury:

“My stories run up and bite me on the leg – I respond by writing down everything that goes on during the bite. When I finish, the idea lets go and runs off.”
