Description: Nick Surrey was an advertising rep from New Jersey on a business trip in Southern California when the world ended. Trapped under the rubble of his hotel for three days, after digging his way he found that his hipster lifestyle was over.
Nick has a wife named Victory. They were on the verge of divorce when he left for the trip. Now Nick is determined to get back to the East Coast and save his marriage and possibly, what’s left of civilization. Unfortunately, he has almost no survival skills other than being hapless and lucky.
Nick accidentally burned his car trying to hot wire it. He’s been unable to access the apps on his iphone, but did briefly talk to Victory after the apocalypse. The only reason the other survivors haven’t killed him yet is because they don’t consider him a threat.
