Keep the Factory Running!

Thursday on the Network: Old Bosses

Hey Factory Fans!

Today’s strip concludes a true story back from my temp days.  It’s almost exactly how it happened, although names and places have been changed.  Work can get weird.

Today at Super Frat, it’s a new strip called The Anti Grad.

Ally has relationship issues in Validation.

And the Quote of the Day is from Robert Frost:
“By working faithfully eight hours a day you may eventually get to be boss and work twelve hours a day.”

Hey Factory Fans!

My fixed computer arrives soon.  Can’t wait!

At Super Frat, it’s Twitter in Focus with Al Jean.

And the Quote of the Day is from Hippocrates:

“Life is short, the art long.”

Tuesday on the Network: Break Down

Hey Factory Fans!

Well, it finally happened.  My sweet, sweet computer finally died.  She went down fighting, but the viruses and a malfunctioning fan on the graphics card finally did her in.  She will be buried with full honors at the Webcomic Factory National Cemetery on Friday.

*Sob.*

At Super Frat, it’s a new strip called Tweet Me.

And the Quote of the Day is from Emo Philllips:

“A computer once beat me at chess, but it was no match for me at kick boxing.“

Monday on the Network: Worry Not

Feb09

Hey Factory Fans!

Don’t worry, be happy.  Why not?  Worrying gets you nothing but stress.  It’ll all work out.  And if it doesn’t, just shrug and move on.  What else can you do?

Today at Super Frat, the Webcomic Review looks at The Frumps.

Ally gets big news in Validation.

And the Quote of the Day is from John Lubbock:

“A day of worry is more exhausting than a week of work.”

Sunday on the Network: Movies

Hey Factory Fans!

Lots of controversy swirling over this American Sniper film.  I haven’t seen it.  Not sure I want to.  I’ll tell you a war movie that Clint Eastwood made that’s not to be missed is Letters from Iwo Jima.  It’s quite amazing.

At Super Frat, it’s Your Fratoscope for February 8, 2015.

And the Quote of the Day is from Peter Jackson:

“The most honest form of filmmaking is to make a film for yourself.”
