Keep the Factory Running!

Friday on the Network: The Unexpected

Hey Factory Fans!

I often complain about Reddit, but it does have it’s advantages.  One of the little known subreddits is called r/unexpected.  I highly recommend it.  It’s full of surprises.

Over at Super Frat, it’s Rewritten Headlines: Nut Rage to Chocolate Rain.

And for no particular reason, I’m listening to Paul Simon this week.

And the Quote of the Day is from Henry Ford:

“One of the greatest discoveries a man makes, one of his great surprises, is to find he can do what he was afraid he couldn’t do.“

Thursday on the Network: Barter

Hey Factory Fans!

I’ve had a few clients that have tried to barter for non-cash payment over the years.  Once, I got a cheesesteak for writing a script, so that wasn’t too bad.  (It was a really good cheesesteak.)

Today at Super Frat, it’s a new strip called The Student Becomes the Student.

Validation is new.

And the Quote of the Day is from Ben Shapiro:

“Capitalism invariably boils down to barter between two willing parties, neither of whom uses force to work with the other.“

Wednesday on the Network: Legends

Hey Factory Fans!

Today at Super Frat, Twitter in Focus looks at Carl Reiner.  He’s really a comedy legend and I have to hand it to him trying Twitter out at his age.  Plus it’s not easy to stay funny all these decades.

Don’t forget our sponsors, Philly Comic-Con and MyDiGitalComics.com.  Support us, by supporting them!

And the Quote of the Day is from Ralph Waldo Emerson:

“Always do what you are afraid to do.“

Hey Factory Fans!

The Walk Show returns!

Today at Super Frat, it’s a new strip called Serious Cereal.

And the Quote of the Day is from Bill Watterson:

“I won’t eat any cereal that doesn’t turn the milk purple.”

Monday on the Network: The Death of Movie Theaters

May18

Hey Factory Fans!

The Missus and I bought our house near our favorite movie theater, but these days we only go very rarely.  It’s such a pain.  It’s expensive, the food usually sucks and is expensive and then you sometimes get people like those in today’s strip.  Why go through all that hassle when you can download a new movie at home and watch it for a third of the cost?  Plus you can pause it and make a sandwich out of your own fridge.  Kick up your game, movie theaters, or you’ll all disappear.

Today at Super Frat, it’s a Webcomic Review of Apples & Swords, a really weird webcomic.

Ally’s blog is a hit in Validation.

And the Quote of the Day is from Le Corbusier:

“I prefer drawing to talking. Drawing is faster, and leaves less room for lies.“
