Keep the Factory Running!

Wednesday on the Network: Spring? Finally?

Mar23
by Tony DiGerolamo on March 23, 2016 at 2:25 pm
Posted In: Blog

Hey Factory Fans!

Man, it snowed two days ago and now it’s 70.  Makes you pretty gun shy about the weather.  But hopefully, finally, we’re in Spring.  As mild as this winter was, it was still pretty crazy.

Today at Super Frat it’s Twitter in Focus with Ian McKellen.

Harold George has a new post.

And the Quote of the Day is from Paul McCartney:

“Somebody said to me, ‘But the Beatles were anti-materialistic.’ That’s a huge myth. John and I literally used to sit down and say, ‘Now, let’s write a swimming pool.'”

Tuesday on the Network: Happy Accidents

Mar22
by Tony DiGerolamo on March 22, 2016 at 3:37 pm
Posted In: Blog

Hey Factory Fans!

Never discount the happy accidents.  This is true of art and in life.  Just look at the Reese’s Peanut Butter cup.

Today at Super Frat, I finally get my computer fix in time to fix the new strip.  It’s #900 by the way.

Harold George has a new post.

And the Quote of the Day is from Aristotle:

“The ideal man bears the accidents of life with dignity and grace, making the best of circumstances.”

Monday on the Network: Sex it Up

Mar21
by Tony DiGerolamo on March 21, 2016 at 1:58 pm
Posted In: Blog

Hey Factory Fans!

I’ve heard you can make a fortune doing straight up sex comics, but that’s not for me.  No one reads the stories in most sex comics.  For me, it’s enough to have a strip like we have today.  Something implied.

At Super Frat, Fat Guy Eats looks at Coriander Indian Bistro.

Don’t miss Monday’s Validation.

Harold George has a new post.

And the Quote of the Day is from Bettie Page:

“Sex is a part of love. You shouldn’t go around doing it unless you are in love.”

Sunday on the Network: Joke Parts

Mar20
by Tony DiGerolamo on March 20, 2016 at 2:24 pm
Posted In: Blog

Hey Factory Fans!

The three panel comic is ideal for the joke because the parts of a joke are Set Up, Reaction, Punchline.  You could maybe squeeze in a fourth panel with a topper, as some webcomic creators do.  But three is really the magic number in comedy.

Please welcome our new link buddy, Spirits of Suburbia by Elyce.  It’s a fun, funny webcomic with a unique look.  Also, don’t forget our other link buddies including Druid City, The Hero Business, KinSlayer and The Other End.

Also, don’t miss a brand new strip from Winter of Discontent.

And the Quote of the Day is from Robin Williams:

“When in doubt, go for the dick joke.”

Saturday on the Network: Gem City

Hey Factory Fans!

April is just around the corner and that means the Gem City Comic Con is almost here!  GCCC is our sponsor this month along with our long time sponsor and super supporter, MyDigitalComics.com!  At Gem City, one of the featured guests is one of my favorite writers, John Ostrander, creator of GrimJack!  And if you haven’t read GrimJack, you should.  At MyDigitalComics.com, they’ve got digital downloads and most are free!  So check ’em out!  Supporting our sponsors, supports us!

At Super Frat today, it’s WTF Did I Just Watch: The Walking Dead.  (This’ll probably be my last rant on TWD.  Just FYI.  Sorry to keep complaining about it.)

Check out Harold George’s post today.

And the Quote of the Day is from Oscar Wilde:

“Most people are other people. Their thoughts are someone else’s opinions, their lives a mimicry, their passions a quotation.”
