Well, the Italian Festival went well today.  Although there were three other festivals in the area and it was a little dreary, in general it was a nice temperate day at the park.  Thanks to all that came out!  For those of you looking for my book online, Amazon has it here and Barnes and Noble has it here.  Feel free to say something nice in the comment sections.

Wednesday on the Network: I’m on a Comic Book….Radio!

Hey Factory Fans!

Don’t forget to tune into tonight for Comic Book Oblivion, episode 2, on No Fucks Given Radio.  My co-host, the Unknown Factor, and I will be talking about comic book movies and probably some about comicsgate.  Last month, we only had one person in our live chat.  I’m hoping to double it!  Starts at 9pm.  You can ask questions live and I think I finally figured out how to watch the comments on YouTube appear, so this time I promise to be more responsive.

Tuesday on the Network: The Comics War Begins

Hey Factory Fans!

Sad to say, the Great Comics War is pretty official now in my view.  Richard Meyer of comicsgate is suing Mark Waid.  For a lawyer’s take on it, watch this video.  It does not sound good and even worse, this probably means we’re very far from peace in the comics world.  It does not look good.  I’ll say it before and I’ll say it again, if I had half the career of Mark Waid I would be off Twitter and I certainly wouldn’t get involved in Internet squabbles.  I think Waid’s made a big mistake here.  I am hopeful there will be a settlement and maybe Waid and Meyer will announce that they’ve made peace, but…  I don’t lay very good odds on that.

Oh, well.  Maybe next year peace will come.
