Wednesday on the Network: Fitting in

Hey Factory Fans!

I did not fit in when I was in high school.  Even in college they called me “Tony D, O.M.O.” which stood for “Odd Man Out”.  Most of that was on me, I made a conscious decision not to fit in and to be anti-social.  It was sorta my thing.

Speaking of odd, don’t miss Super Frat with Twitter in Focus on Starburns, AKA: Dino Stamatopoulos.

The battle at Charlie and Clow comes to an end.

And the Quote  of the Day is from Stephen King:

“Let’s face it. No kid in high school feels as though they fit in.”

Tuesday on the Network: Secret Passage

Hey Factory Fans!

Thank God for the Internet.  Now I don’t need a porn stash in physical form.  A few well hidden bookmarks is all you need, if that!  You don’t know what it was like in the old days.  Magazines, video tapes, DVD’s.  That stuff takes up room and it gets harder and harder to come up with labels on the box that no one would touch and not throw in the trash.  Which label would you use?  “Old Text Books”, “Blank CD’s”, “Cornish Hens” or “Glassware”.  “Old Text Books” is likely to get thrown out, “Blank CD’s” are fine, until someone other than you needs a blank CD.  “Cornish Hens”?  Silly, after a few weeks, people will know something.  “Glassware” is the choice.  Unless someone breaks a lot of glassware, no one’s going in here and no one’s going to throw it out.

At Super Frat it’s a new strip called Check Credentials.

Johnson & Sir is also new.

And the Quote of the Day is from Ludwig van Beethoven:

“Don’t only practice your art, but force your way into its secrets; art deserves that, for it and knowledge can raise man to the Divine.“

Monday on the Network: Die Winter, Die!

Hey Factory Fans!

Dear God, I can see Spring!  And not a moment too soon.  Shoveling ice is bullshit.  Just melt already.

Today at Super Frat, the Webcomic Review looks at the Black Wall.

Ally finishes her talk in Validation.

And the Quote of the Day is from Robert Byrne:

“Winter is nature’s way of saying, ‘Up yours.’“

Sunday on the Network: Pay the Cost

Hey Factory Fans!

To be the boss is a tough thing, but you have to keep the morale up of your troops.  If they’re not happy, then no one’s happy.

At Super Frat, it’s Your Fratoscope for March 1, 2015.

And the Quote of the Day is from George C. Marshall:

“I can’t expect loyalty from the army if I do not give it.“

Saturday on the Network: Brothers

Feb28

Hey Factory Fans!

I just had a fine evening out with my brother and brother-in-law for the latter’s birthday.  An awesome restaurant called the Huntly Taverne.  Highlights included a bread pudding appetizer made of bone marrow.  Tasty!

At Super Frat, read me bitch about comic book stores in Life Skills for Fanboys: Customer Service.

And the Quote of the Day is from Antisthenes:

“When brothers agree, no fortress is so strong as their common life.”
