Tuesday on the Network: Mistakes Were Made

Jul14
by Tony DiGerolamo on July 14, 2015 at 2:52 pm
Posted In: Blog

Hey Factory Fans!

Oh, boy.  Have I made some mistakes in my time.  Not enough room on the Internet to blog them all.  Suffice it to say, I try to learn from them.  Even if I won’t readily admit them.

And speaking of mistakes, I forgot to mention the new Winter of Discontent is up.

Today at Super Frat, it’s No More Jello Puddin.

Johnson & Sir is new.

And the Quote of the Day is from Buddha:

“There are only two mistakes one can make along the road to truth; not going all the way, and not starting.“

Monday on the Network: The Fall

Jul13

Hey Factory Fans!

Is the comic book industry in its final fall?  Well everything collapses eventually.  I sometimes wonder what life will be like after the U.S. collapses and maybe, thereafter, doesn’t even exist.  Things to consider when you plan to be frozen and woken up in a 1000 years.  But I don’t think comics are in a freefall anymore, just a slow demise until eventually you look up and say, “Didn’t there used to be comic book stores around here?”

At Super Frat it’s Ten Reasons Why I Didn’t Go to Comic Con.

At Validation, Ally goes to the doctor.

And the Quote of the Day is from Tacitus:

“All enterprises that are entered into with indiscreet zeal may be pursued with great vigor at first, but are sure to collapse in the end.“

Saturday on the Network: Accidents

Jul11

Hey Factory Fans!

Life, it seems to me, is one big accident.  People plan, plan, plan, but it always seems those plans never really roll out the way you expect.

And speaking of unexpected, don’t forget to click on our new sponsor, Geek4Geek and if you buy something, tell them the Webcomic Factory sent you!  Also, our long time sponsor, MyDigitalComics.com, for all your digital download needs.

At Super Frat, it’s the Webcomic Review of one of the funniest webcomics I’ve read yet: CAT BREAKING NEWS

And the Quote of the Day is from Pablo Picasso:

“I don’t believe in accidents. There are only encounters in history. There are no accidents.“

Friday on the Network: Rock n’ Roll Circus

Jul10
by Tony DiGerolamo on July 10, 2015 at 1:59 pm
Posted In: Blog

Hey Factory Fans!

Art doesn’t always go as you plan.  Case and point, Rock n’ Roll Circus.  It was organized by the Rolling Stones, but legend has it that the Who did so well and upstage them, they shelved it for years.  Oh, well.  That’s art for ya.

At Super Frat, it’s Rewritten Headlines: Bush to Dumbass.

And the Quote of the Day is from Aristotle:

“The aim of art is to represent not the outward appearance of things, but their inward significance.“

Thursday on the Network: Being P.C.

Jul09

Hey Factory Fans!

I’ve never been very P.C.  Took me a long time to develop any sense of tact, quite frankly.  Now that Internet is like an oppressive P.C. tyrant whenever you post.  Lighten up, Internet.

Validation is new.

Count Steve checks in with Ira at Super Frat.

And the Quote of the Day is from Robert Kiyosaki:

“Being politically correct means saying what’s polite rather than what’s accurate. I like to be accurate.“
