Hey Factory Fans!

Even though I’m almost 50, September always feels like the new year to me.  I guess it’s my public school indoctrination, but things always seem to start anew this time of year.  We’re lining up some new artists and new projects, people are actually answering my emails again.  Makes sense.  Summer is a great end to the year and then it gets cooler and people actually go back to work.  Of course, in a couple of months, people will be halfway checked out because of Halloween and then completely checked out by Thanksgiving.  Oy, the holidays.  When I get the money, I’m moving to Fiji to duck them.

Summer is outta here, but the temp has stayed here for a few more days in the East.  Fine with me.  More days I won’t have to mow my lawn.

That David Bowie song reminds me that fashion is pretty low on my list of priorities.  Anyone that has ever seen me at a con probably realizes that too.  Have a good holiday, however you’re dressed.

Saturday on the Network: Labor Day Weekend

Hey Factory Fans!

Yeah, Monday’s technically Labor Day, but this is really the day to cut loose.  (No one cuts loose on Sunday, really.)  Right now, Dragon Con is in full swing, so high to all the fans drunk and in costume.  (Remember, save some room party booze for Sunday.)  The party never ends at Dragon Con.  Well, until the con ends anyway.
