Hey Factory Fans!

If you’re a patron at Patreon, stop by the page today!  If you’re not, well just a dollar a month gets you extras and really helps out the site.  If you can’t do it directly, do it indirectly by clicking on our sponsors MyDigitalComics.com and The Jersey Shore Comic Book Show, November 20th.

Don’t miss Your Fratoscope at Super Frat.

And the Quote of the Day is from Benjamin Franklin:

“Most people return small favors, acknowledge medium ones and repay greater ones – with ingratitude.”

Saturday on the Network: Early

Hey Factory Fans!

It’s an early day for me!  Oh, God!  Natural sunlight!  It burns!

Anyhow, couple of quick things.  Please welcome new artist, Gwydion Vibart on The Antiwar Comic.  Super-psyched to be doing that again.

Also, new sponsor, The Jersey Shore Comic Book Show, which I will be doing November 20th at the Toms River Elks Lodge.  It’s a nice, one-day show on a Sunday.  Good times.  There were eight Harleys there last time.  No foolin’.

At Super Frat, I go back to a well I thought I was done with, Ten Things I Expect From President Trump.

At Fart Related Comics, my nephew gets off his computer and goes outside.

And the Quote of the Day is from Marcus Aurelius:

“When you arise in the morning, think of what a precious privilege it is to be alive – to breathe, to think, to enjoy, to love.”

Artist Bio: Gwydion Vibart

Gwydion was born in Ilha Bela, Brazil in 1988 and is now living in Argentina. He was raised in an English speaking family so it is more than a second language. He also studies Japanese and practices Aikido. He’s drawn comics since the first time he got his hands on one, practically since the age of 8. He also loves video games and movies and studied animation as a career. He tries to make his pictures as alive as he can, mainly because he believes that, like photographs, drawings take from life to build a monument frozen in time.

Friday on the Network: Change is Hard

Nov11

Hey Factory Fans!

Those of us in the anti-war community have been looking for the polar shift in politics.  It might be happening, albeit, not exactly the way one would expect.  I’ll be talking about that and more in the return of the Anti-War Comic tomorrow.  In the meantime, try to relax.  This sort of change is really, really hard.  If it was easy, it would’ve happened decades ago.

And speaking of protests, Ira is back on the front lines in Super Frat in Fight the Something.

Hit Girlz, Chevalier, G.A.A.K. and The Continentals are update at Xcelsior.

And the Quote of the Day is from Bob Gibson:

“In a world filled with hate, prejudice, and protest, I find that I too am filled with hate, prejudice, and protest.”

Thursday on the Network: Protesting

Nov10
by Tony DiGerolamo on November 10, 2016 at 3:16 pm
Posted In: Blog

Hey Factory Fans!

What a crazy couple of days.  Already I’m discombobulated.  I posted Rewritten Headlines today at Super Frat.  (Look for the Thursday strip tomorrow.)

I know there are a lot of upset, angry people out there, but look—  I’ve been to my share of anti-war protests and the problem has always been that they try to do too much.  Instead of just ending war, the protest dilutes itself into trying to end hunger, promote civil rights, stopping violence against women—  It becomes way too broad.  Protesting Trump just because he’s Trump, is not a movement or very smart.  You have to protest policies, events, laws, actions—  Trump hasn’t actually done anything yet.  And any of his past crimes as a private citizen, well, that was up to law enforcement to take care of years ago, if in fact he did anything illegal.

As a Libertarian, I’m super against the Federal Reserve.  But I’m not just going to continually protest it.  When the Fed does something more positive for the economy (like stop Quantitative Easing, ie printing money) that’s not the time for me to protest.  Wait for Trump to screw up, THEN protest it.  If he does something good (like he may actually normalize relations with Russia) then give him credit.  Sends a message for what we want and don’t want.

Okay, soapbox over.

Validation is new.

Xcelsior has updated Chevalier, G.A.A.K. and The Continentals.

And the Quote of the Day is from Paul Watson:

“Protesting is fundamentally submissive.”
