Hey Factory Fans!

Why work in independent comics?  Well, firstly, it’s not easy to break into the big leagues.  But the most rewarding part of doing indie comics is you can do whatever you want.  It’s a freedom big league comic creators rarely have and allows for a great deal of innovation.  Innovation by necessity mostly.

Monday on the Network: Or is it Sunday?

Hey Factory Fans!

Weird holiday day for some.  For others they had to work and for others, they won’t work tomorrow.  I think any week with a holiday should just be a week long.  Save us all the bother.  No one gets shit done anyway.

Can’t be afraid to make choices.  Creative people do it every day.  Some people call us brave, but if we don’t make those creative choices we don’t eat so we’re not brave.  We’re just hungry.

Thursday on the Network: Passing

Hey Factory Fans.

Tommy Castillo, artist for Batman and a few of my comic covers, passed away after some medical problems.  Tommy was a wild man artist that lived life to the fullest.  He will be missed by many and mourned by more.  I will always remember Tommy’s art and his penchant for telling the best story in the room.  Adios, bro.  The conventions won’t be the same without you.
