I think I see a couple of typos in this comic.
Panel 1: suppose -> supposed
Panel 3: diaster -> disaster
Thanks Gillsing! Fixed!
Excellent points. Excellent comic.
Thanks Adam!
Wah wah wah wah
Wow, criticism by an anonymous source. I’m sooooo scared.
Hi Frank.
Yeah, this pretty much sums it up! well played!
Hey Raven! And thanks for all your support!
Spot on critique. Sometimes we can all get caught up in our own bubble, this case Miller’s art world, and forget the horrors of war.
Yeah, it’s weird because many years ago I interviewed Frank for my TV show, The Comic Book Show. It was a few weeks after Jack Kirby’s death. I had been out all night the night before and was a little fried for the interview. Well, I clumsily asked Frank about Jack and he teared up and cried. And I just felt awful and later, I thought, wow. Here’s a guy with a lot of compassion. I mean, to cry like that in front of everyone and the cameras, not embarrassed at all. And for years, I kept that image of Frank in my head. That’s part of the reason I was so shocked by this blog post. Where is that other Frank?
“wah re wah” is meant as a compliment. If I were you, I’d point out his mis-spelling. Thanks again for the comic (not that I knew about Miller’s rant before I knew of this comic).
Oh, so it was aimed at Frank and not at me? Well that’s different then.
No what he was trying to say is that wah means as much as wow in Hindi
And can be repeated for emphasis 🙂
Hmm. Interesting.
Great comic! I have quite a few friends in the Occupy protests who are huge fans of Miller’s comics, I almost don’t have the heart to send the link to his rant. Almost.
It’s a tough thing to separate the man from his work. Then again, I was on the receiving end of some criticism during the Bush years and when I’ve criticized Obama’s warmongering here and in Super Frat. Frank’s post is more direct though. It reminds me of the Steranko rant about “The Pro” years ago.
Unless he brings his dissatisfaction with the Occupy movement into his work, it won’t be too hard for me to keep his work and opinions separate. Tom Cruise movies were somewhat ruined for me after all that scientology business came out, but thankfully I won’t be seeing Miller’s mug in every comic book frame.
Great Comic sir!
Thanks Eric!
Great comic! I do believe you spelled Prophecy with an ‘S’ instead of a ‘C’.
Keep up the great work!
God dammit, I’m illiterate sometimes. Fixed.
thanks to everyone whom comment this strip i really did it so fast because i was in a con this weekend, hope you like it guys…
Nice job, Roberto!
Thank you so much for this.
Thank you, Tony, i´ve really enjoyed this one
Your art sucks and your message sucks.
spot on!!!!
Thanks for doing this comic, great message!
I’ve been and donated to Occupy Oakland and currently have friends who are staying there. I’m impressed every day at the Occupy movement and am totally baffled by the people who hate it or don’t understand it.

I loved Frank Miller’s comics but he’s become a misogynist fascist loon. It’s kind of sad.
Apalling = Appalling
Good work Tony and Roberto.
Thanks Maurice. Fixed!
What’s really laughable about Miller’s rant is it really IS out of line with EVERY Sin City plot he dreams up… with corrupt police, government officials and corporate mafioso. “Give Me Liberty” was like a sci-fi prediction of the political poop-storm we’ve been enduring for almost twelve un-lubed, corn-holing years now. In all seriousness, it sounds to me like that disgruntled old butt-wind needs a catscan… NOW.
Frank’s always been passionate in his views, especially when it comes to PROTECTING FREE SPEECH. I guess that only applies to combatting the fascism of the Comics’ Code Authority, lol.
Yeah, good point.
Nice work guys. Simply put without being polemic. Great comic – but I’m not sure about the “something THE batman does not tolerate” – that’s probably just a typing error, you probably meant “that” 🙂
Actually, that’s not a typo. I was calling him “the Batman” like the old school comic books do.
Oh, right! I didn’t know that. Beg your pardon 🙂
No worries! Believe me, I had plenty of typos in this one!
Wait! I saw another typo: “the batman” = “the goddamn batman”.
Ha!
That was deep. Wow! Amazing.
Thanks, HG!
I’d just like to add one little thing: yes, Miller probably thinks war is like a Captain America adventure, judging by his STUPID enlist remark… BUT, Cap, or at least Steve Rogers, would be appaled by his attack against OWS. I’m a huge fan of Cap, and I think if he was real, he’d side with OWS… now, Walker/U.S. Agent? he’d be pummeling down students… Same goes to Ultimate Cap, and mentioning that, I wonder wheter MillAr agrees with MillER…
Wow man, great comic!
My biggest problem through this whole thing wasn’t his politics (there are tons of people whose politics I hate, but still enjoy their art), but rather the incoherent screed that he voluntarily put out. It was filled with ad hominem attacks and logical fallacies and lacked any coherence. If this is what this writer, who was responsible in part for the direction of an entire generation of comics, has devolved to in his actual writing, then I want no more part of it.
Yeah, it’s very strange. I makes me wonder, is he a writer? Does he have some guy that normally helps him write? Or an editor that goes “No, Frank, that doesn’t make any sense.” My guess is that Frank, like a lot of people, are still traumatized by the events of 9/11. Seriously, I think he needs to talk to a therapist.
