Keep the Factory Running!

Monday on the Network: Posty McPost

Hey Factory Fans!

Went to the supermarket today. If you’re into food like I am, it’s a fun place to go. Unless you don’t have money, in which case it sucks. Today was okay though, I bought some good stuff. Nothing too crazy. I like to fry up a bunch of boneless chicken and then spend the week grazing it.

At Super Frat, it’s Your Fratoscope, which is weird because I’m so out of it, I’ve been posting these on Monday for some reason. But hey, not a bad way to start your week.

And the Quote of the Day is from Neil Gaiman:

“A nice, easy place for freedom of speech to be eroded is comics, because comics are a natural target whenever an election comes up.”

Sunday on the Network: Two Weeks In

Hey Factory Fans!

Well, we’re two weeks into 2019 and I feel that the year has finally got going. What is it about the holidays that just kills everything until this time. And really, it sometimes feels like nothing happens until the Spring. If I had my choice, I’d take off from Thanksgiving until mid-March. Maybe spend the months in Florida or something.

At Super Frat, it’s A Screenwriter’s Take on The Death of Stalin. Great movie, btw.

And the Quote of the Day is from Jerry Seinfeld:

“My parents didn’t want to move to Florida, but they turned sixty and that’s the law.”

Saturday on the Network: Late Night Gaming!

Hey Factory Fans!

Sorry for the late post, but we were playing Castle Burgandy and really lost track of time! It’s complicated, lots of chits, but once you get the hang of it it’s pretty good! I lost three in a row and they are looooong games!

Rewritten Headlines over at Super Frat.

And the Quote of the Day is from Alan Moore:

“It may be true that the only reason the comic book industry now exists is for this purpose, to create characters for movies, board games and other types of merchandise.”

Friday on the Network: Pizza Days

Hey Factory Fans!

Ah, my pizza delivery days. It was fun, mostly because I did it in the summer and spring, when it was nice. I can’t imagine delivering a pizza in the snow. Brrr!

At Super Frat, Screenwriting Tips looks at The Third Act!

(I will make you all screenwriters yet!)

And the Quote of the Day is from Thomas A. Edison:

“The reason a lot of people do not recognize opportunity is because it usually goes around wearing overalls looking like hard work.”

Thursday on the Network: Winter is Here!

Hey Factory Fans!

It finally got cold and I mean, real cold. Wow, what a run though. It was like fall all the way up until today. Just one more month and a half until Spring (I hope!).

At Super Frat, it’s a new strip called In God We Troll.

And the Quote of the Day is from Hal Borland:

“No winter lasts forever; no spring skips its turn.”
