This incident was actually based on a comic book store owner I had known. After the bust of the comics, he sold off his store and moved to Israel. Rumor was, he had left a lot of unpaid bills behind.

What a sneaky bastard!
hahah! yeah!
Heh, an interesting parallel, I worked at toysrus when the sequel trilogy started coming out, so for the release of the Force Awakens they dedicated an ENTIRE aisle of the action figure section to nothing but Star Wars figures. The new 6 inch figures of the classic characters sold along with some of the vehicles and role play light sabers, and EVERYTHING ELSE PEG WARMED. It was quite a sight seeing those same figures sitting on the shelves for years, some of them were STILL in stock when toysrus was going out of business and everything was marked down 70% I think we had at least one shelf worth of them in the store’s last week of business when pretty much everything else was picked clean.
TIL a new word: Peg warmed! LOL!
