What’s your point Kel? If you have something to say, say it.
My point is your point is bullshit. You say America is not racist or was built on racism or maintained through racist policies but when asked to explain yourself you can’t say anything. You would rather make a statement without explanation or proof like you are on Fox “News”. Or for me to explain my point. I know this is deflection on your part but I will take the bait.
American history is FULL of racism. From how Europeans gained control of the land that is America (The Indian Removal Act and Reservations) to America’s building (the importation of millions of African slaves) to laws like Jim Crow to today’s policies of policing minorities (Blacks are killed by police for simplest of crimes while Whites are taken alive no matter how bad their crime is; crack cocaine vs powder cocaine sentencing).
Instead of the White Washed history America has taught for so long, schools want to teach the history that has been left out. REDACTED, instead of admitting this history is real and the issues of American “past” is something in need of being talked about and addressed; REDACTED people are fighting to suppress this history through BS culture wars and laws forbidding its teaching. Right-wingers talk about “Cancel Culture” but they sure do A LOT of it themselves.
If America is not “racist” as so many REDACTED people say, how does movements like BLM keep coming up every few decades (Civil Rights Movement of the 50’s 60’s and 70’s)? Why do minorities such as Blacks keep fighting for equality in the 21st century? Why do people like you keep trying to suppress things like racial inequality history teaching? Why deflect with culture wars instead of dealing with the question. Why, why, why? Why indeed.
I’m going to have to ask you to refrain from posting racist comments. If you can’t do that, I will have to ban you. I detest rudeness and racism is exceedingly rude.
The point of my comic (and one would be foolish to argue with the creator of a comic on its point, but…) is that the vast majority of people listen to the Narrative because they want to be accepted as good people. The Narrative is whatever the current Establishment is pushing. Sometimes it’s very jingoistic (as it was post-9/11), sometimes it’s very consumer-driven (as it has been on and off since the 80’s) but currently it’s very woke and Marxists. The Establishment is whoever is in control. Normally, the very rich and powerful. Very rarely, as in Mao’s China or in Stalin’s Russia, it can be ideological.
Your ideology blinds you to logic. You instead make leap after leap in assumptions and hyperbole, assuming you know me, my intent, what I believe and what people all over the world believe. You set up straw men and then dance in victory as you knock them down. I never argued any of your points, yet you assume I am in opposition of them all. It’s that assumption that betrays that you are an ideologue, not someone interested in having a conversation. You’re here to virtue signal and no one cares.
Literally, no one cares. Since Google gamed the algorithms and webcomics crashed, the only traffic the site gets are a few hardcore readers and the few I pick up from my videos or social media posts. And fewer than that comment, much less READ the comments. So I am probably literally the only person reading your comment. It’s woke, ignorant, racist and you don’t even make a good straw man.
What an embarrassment. To come to my little corner of the web to post a racist screed and comment on history you CLEARLY don’t understand! You think just because you can see everything through the prism of race and have the ability to “call someone out” is a skill?
Your dishonesty and intellectual cowardice is a breathtaking testament to the teachers who have failed you so utterly. Take your racism elsewhere.
