I… don’t understant this one. Maybe because i’m french? i mean, when you’re friend with someone like pietro and mitch, it’s not unexpected to give your friend a present.
Haha! Vig didn’t get this one either. Y’see, in the States, if your coworker buys you a gift, you’re obligated to buy him one or else you look like a jerk. So if you buy one without alerting your coworker you’re going to exchange gifts, you’re making your coworker look bad. Probably an American thing, I guess.

No, not give the present back, but buy another present. You know, so it’s an even exchange.
i know. It’s just, how to put it, when someone give you a present, it has a simple meaning, he/she like you. The present just mean he/she think of you and wanted to give you something you’d like. Giving back something just because you must is seen badly and you do not tell the person about your intention to give him/her a present. It’s all about thinking of pleasing someone and surprise him/her.
Yep. I agree, but we’re weird here about that.
