Mark Smith Jr. was born in St. Louis, MO, in 1979, bounced around growing up, but found a home in Omaha, NE. Along the way, he joined the Marine Corps (reserves), got married, got a motorcycle, bought a house, and had a daughter. While pursuing a degree in Electronic Imaging & Media Arts, Mark began to pursue a career in comic books.
Mark’s first published work was a web comic, Raymond Hardcase, published by Scott Comics. He has kept busy with various projects from other publishers, the most recent being Kingdom of the Dwarves for the Web Comics Factory.
