Nope, not really perfect, specially this day, which is the fight against DRM day. And if there’s something plagued by DRM, that’s the iPad, the machine that could have been perfect, but it’s defective because you are limited in how you can interact with it. You can’t even plug a keyboard with tactile feedback to it, because it has no usb port, not even a usb flash memory, because that would mean that you could insert something apple doesn’t aprove there.
Just imagining The Turtles’ “So Happy Together” playing in the background. But, gedece, you’re totally right. Here’s Hitler’s rant about it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=his-AgsWzGg
That pic was actually from the Apple store…but my wife and I decided to take the plunge and get an iPad about 5 minutes after taking that pic. Yes, the iPad has its downs (no keyboard outlet for the ‘tactile feedback’ and no, you can’t save information to an external drive), but MAN it really is amazing piece of machinery. Surfing the web is fast, twittering is amazing, reading comics and books is WONDERFUL and the everything from video to websites look fantastic. I wish Marvel and DC Comics would get on the ball and offer ALL their NEW comics in digital form. I’d still buy them because storing them on something like the iPad is 1 million times better than the 6 comic book boxes I have in my storage closet.

Well, we know how Tony Destructo feels about the iPad: http://www.thewebcomicfactory.com/comics/tony-destructo/destructo01/
