Ah yes, Heavy Ink. Since I don’t live in the USA I never did business with them, but I remember Brian Clevinger recommending them a lot. Until he cut all ties.
Well, as a fan of the First Amendment and more freedom, I believe people can say what they want. Heavy Ink’s job is to sell comics, which they do very well. I don’t think we should have a political screening process on who we should or shouldn’t buy comics from. But if you want to, you’re free to do that to. But to be fair, Brian should screen EVERYONE he does business with and be okay with it when someone decides not to sell his books because of HIS political beliefs.
Oh, I don’t have a political screening process for my purchases. I was just sharing what little I know about Heavy Ink, in case that would be of interest to anyone. Brian Clevinger always seemed like a reasonable person to me, so I figured that more people might share his view on this issue. And in order to make an informed decision, one needs the information first.
