Keep the Factory Running!

Thursday on the Network: The Art of the Cook

Aug28
by Tony DiGerolamo on August 28, 2014 at 3:54 pm
Posted In: Blog

Hey Factory Fans!

I love cooking, probably because I love food.  But it really is an art form all it’s own.  There’s a visual component that effects the taste that cannot be denied.  Speaking of which, it’s a late post and I gotta eat something!

Validation is new.

At Super Frat, it’s The Soft Serve Hack.

And the Quote of the Day is from Lao Tzu:
“Governing a great nation is like cooking a small fish – too much handling will spoil it.”

Hey Factory Fans!

You parents out there gotta thankless job sometimes.  All that time and effort and you still get lots of criticism.  Not for me!  Thus the Wednesday comic!

At Super Frat, it’s Twitter in Focus with Adam Goldberg.

And the Quote of the Day is from Oscar Wilde:

“Children begin by loving their parents; after a time they judge them; rarely, if ever, do they forgive them.”

Hey Factory Fans!

We’re back in the swing after Intervention Con.  Don’t forget about our sponsor, Atomicon, August 30th in Manahawkin, NJ from 10 to 4pm!  Also, MyDigitalComics.com for all your digital comic needs!

At Super Frat, the bros drink too much in The Distinction.

Johnson & Sir is new with a strip called Rogue Dragon.

And the Quote of the Day is from Alexander Pope:

“So vast is art, so narrow human wit.”

Monday on the Network: Back From Intervention Con!

Hey Factory Fans!

Sorry for the lack of updates, but Intervention Con was pretty busy.  You can check out a brief interview with Christian on the front page of the website.

Let’s see what happened.  Well, I met Kelci Crawford, artist for Validation and Johnson & Sir.  Christian was there and together we came up with about five dozen new webcomics.  Most of them, quite insane.  (In fact, I think we came up with so many this weekend, we could probably do a webcomic where we just do one installment of a new webcomic for the webcomic each time.)  Yi Weng, of Lester Crenshaw is Dead, also stopped by to hang out and play games.  Everyone seemed to have a good time.

We, of course, met and talked to fans in the vendors room.  We went to a party on Friday.  On Saturday, Bruce, one of our buddies from the Silent Devil crew, stopped by and we went out to eat.  Bruce generously treated at a fine Mexican establishment.  Also coming along was Chris Flick of Capes and Babes.

Panels were pretty kickass.  Look for them to be posted on the Intervention site.  One in particular went well for me.  It was about dealing with offensive material in comics and included Travis from Hainted Holler.  Also in attendance with is entire family was Pete Abrams of Sluggy Freelance, which is celebrating it’s 17th anniversary today.

We also went to the Drink and Draw, where Chris Flick drew these awesome pics.

Thanks to all for coming out to the show!  See you at the next one!

Today at Super Frat, Life Skills for Fanboys talks about the Female Thor.

And the Quote of the Day is from John Steinbeck:

“A sad soul can kill quicker than a germ.”

Thursday on the Network: Always Inspire!

Hey Factory Fans!

There are those that will try and tear you down and make you feel bad about yourself.  Instead of getting angry, instead of getting even, always inspire!  I didn’t always think that way, but now I do.

Speaking of inspiring, I’ll be inspiring people on the road at Intervention Con with Christian Beranek and Yi Weng!  Hope to see you there!

Don’t miss the latest comic from Validation!

And at Super Frat, it’s a new strip called Weed Solves Everything.

And the Quote of the Day is from Theodore Roosevelt:

“Believe you can and you’re halfway there.”
