Artist Bios: M.C. Carper
(M.C. Carper on right and yes, that’s Ronnie James Dio on the left)
I fell in love reading comics magazines, Heavy Metal and Metal Hurlant. I’ve always liked science fiction and have written many stories in Spanish, including a space opera series. My first works were in Spanish science fiction comics, along with the writers, Machison and Moraneus. Then I worked on bio graphic novels about rock bands like AC / DC and the Norwegian black metal origns of Quarentena Editors. My work includes medieval Spanish history comics. Also, the unit SHOCKS Axxón site on line, and several works on sites, including covers, posters and the tale’s illustrations. I also had a brief appearance in Fernando Sosa’s Barricada Comics.
You can see more of my work on this portfolio:

I think the internet has united all borders and today, the artist can be displayed live to readers anywhere. The tools and resources are more accessible and certainly the future of comics is on online sites like the Webcomic Factory. Although there are many social networks to explore, I think even the comics will take a new dimension when the technology begins include sound effects and animation in the years to come.
